Our new company site is currently being built on an area of around 2,500 square metres, with office and storage space and a modern training centre where we will be able to offer even higher-quality training and education in the future.

A lot has happened since construction began in August 2024. The building shell is in place and the next steps before the interior work begins are the installation of the windows and the finishing of the facade.

Completion and thus the move-in is scheduled for the 4th quarter of this year, an opening ceremony is planned for spring 2026.

The new SIGMA USER VIDEO is now online. The video shows how easy it is to use the lift, highlights its safety features and clearly demonstrates the functionality of the Sigma, which makes it the ideal addition to the sales process.

The new generation of our popular Stratos and Delta platform stairlifts has won the ‘BIG SEE Product Design Award’ in the ‘Mobility’ category. The sleek design, modern colour scheme and harmonious lines won over the jury. In addition to the fresh design, highlights include a high-resolution colour display with status indication, LED platform lighting, ergonomically positioned controls and reduced space requirement.

We are currently in the final test phase. The new platforms are expected to be available on the market in the first half of 2025.

BIG started in the early 2000s as a Slovene national promotor of quality architecture and design. In mid 2010s we expanded our activities to the region of South-East Europe – SEE –, hosting two regional award & trade shows & conferrences and publishing a magazine “see”.

In the mid-2010s, activities were expanded to the South East Europe region - SEE, two regional trade fairs, award ceremonies and conferences were organised and the magazine ‘see’ was published.

After selling the Alpha successfuly for 10 years now, we have implemented a number of product updates that improve comfort, design and function.

We have made structural changes that make getting on and of the lift and travelling more pleasant. In addition, we now offer the ergonomic EasyFlex seat board as an option.

Additionally, the Classic Line offers a choice of three seat covers made from artificial leather: Anthracite, beige and brown.

Technical adjustments brought improvements to the automatic footrest, automatic swivel seat, vibration absorption and weight.

After more than a year of planning, we have now officially celebrated the ground-breaking for our new company site. "Our goal is to move into the new building in the second half of 2025. This is a tight schedule, but we are confident that the new building will progress quickly thanks to our reliable partners," reports Managing Director Christian Lehner.

We have placed particular emphasis on resource protection during the planning phase. That's why we are relying on the renewable, natural raw material wood for the new building, which will be around 3000 square metres in size. A photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof, the energy produced from which will be used to heat the rooms by means of a heat pump. In addition, we are having the parking areas paved with infiltration-capable turf stones to minimise the sealed floor area.

Our new company presentation is now online. We show how our company was founded and what Lehner Lifttechnik is all about. We also provide exciting insights behind the scenes of our modern production site.

In 2024, we will be organising a multi-day technical training series for the first time, for which you can register now. There will be one date in spring and one in autumn, each lasting three days.

Date 1: 16.-18.4.2024 
Date 2: 8.-10.10.2024 

The training days are structured according to products, whereby each course can be booked individually. The basic trainings mainly cover installation and the general function of the lifts. In the advanced trainings, we focus on troubleshooting and error solution. The training is held in English.

ACCESSIBILITY WIHTOUT LIMITATIONS

We hereby present the latest addition to our portfolio. The StepSaver offers a simple accessibility solution for small lifting heights.

As the name suggests, the usability of the stairs is not affected. Existing stairs can be overcome by wheelchair users and still be used without restriction by other pedestrians.

Our portfolio has recently been relaunched with a new design.

It is perfect for getting an overview of our diverse range. Our lift systems and their most important features are compactly summarised on 28 pages. The brochure is currently available in German, English and French.

We can look back on another successful Interlift this year.

From 17 to 20 October, we presented ourselves with a modern stand at the international trade fair. This was the first time we presented the new generation of our popular platform stairlifts Delta and Stratos. Highlights include the high-resolution colour display, the reduced space requirement and the powerful 0.75 kW motor. You can find all information about the updated platform stairlifts here.

Another novelty was the photo box, where we could take many photos together with our visitors.

We are already looking forward to Interlift 2025, which will take place in Nuremberg.

We are already in the middle of our preparations. Whether it's new products or the design of our stand, our trade fair appearance has numerous highlights waiting for you. So you can be curious.

In June, the kick-off of our partner event series took place. We were able to give sales partners from Germany, Italy and Switzerland an interesting look behind the scenes. We visited the production facilities together, and there was also plenty of action during helicopter tours.

All in all, it was a successful event with many interesting discussions and exciting insights. We look forward to welcoming more partners soon!

December 2022

It is important to us to pass on part of the financial success of Lehner Lifttechnik. That is why we have donated to three charitable organisations again this year.

A total of € 2,500 also went to the BezirksRundSchau Christkind. This will support two families with seriously ill children in our surroundings. 

2,500 € went to the organisation Red Noses Clowndoctors. This will finance eight visits to the child and youth psychiatric clinic in Austria.

We donated another € 2,500 to Light for the World, an organisation that works for people with disabilities and promotes inclusion worldwide.

December 2022

What began in 1987 with a brilliant idea for a self-propelled stairclimber has developed into a successful, globally active company. Today, our product range includes more than 10 different lifting solutions, which we sell to more than 300 partners in over 60 countries around the world.

On 06 December 2022, our sales team could celebrate the 40000th lift sold. Together we celebrated this remarkable number with cake and champagne.

November 2022

After the successful presentation at the Interlift 2022, we are happy to annouce the European launch of our new vertical lift Sigma.

We are excited that, after a 2-year-developement, this modern and aesthetic lift with a lifting height of up to 3 m will be added to our product portfolio. The Sigma is the perfect mobility solution for the private and public sector.

Orders are accepted from now on, the start of EXW deliveries is in January 2023.

November 2022

As of November, the products Alpha, Delta, Stratos and Omega will be delivered certified according to the EN 81-40:2020 standard.

We are happy that with these products we already comply with the updated standard. This means that we can guarantee maximum safety and best quality for both you and your customers.

This liftboy was specially developed for use on train platforms and stage platforms.

Easy to handle and battery-powered, this lift can be moved by only one person without much effort. Thanks to the fold-out and width-adjustable ramps on both sides, the lift can be used in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations.

As each year we donated in 2020 again a part of our profit to different charitiy organisations around the globe. Ideally we intend to support child charities that have a strong focus on integrating handicapped children into their educational programmes.

In cooperation with the Slovenian airport ground handling equipment producer TIPS, a Delta inclined stairlift platform was adapted for the use on a telescopic airplane access staircase.

Here our platforms help to transport wheelchair drivers comfortably and safely to the doors of various different types of airplanes.
